This is a 100% DIY solution.  If you aren't comfortable with installing electronics your self, splicing wires, soldering, or other general automotive electrical concepts then this isn't the product for you.

There are 2 additional components REQUIRED for a functional heated steering wheel.  A CANserver to connect to your car and interface with the computers.  You can get one here.  As well as a steering wheel that has the heating element and temperature sensors.  You can find details about the right one here.

There is an additional OPTIONAL component you can get to allow higher temperatures and faster heat-up.  You can find details about it here.
